Trauma-Informed Leadership: Why Do You Need It?

In episode #o13 of the podcast, I share what exactly is trauma in from leadership, and why it matters.

If you’re a leader, it’s important to really start to consider factoring and accounting for your employees’ mental health, and their state of being their well-being.

Why?

Because ultimately, your employees’ mental health also impacts your bottom line. If your employees aren’t mentally healthy, they’re not going to perform at the optimum.

And if they’re not performing at the optimum, your company’s revenue is going to take a hit.

What else is covered:

  • Trauma: defined and explained
  • The impact of trauma at work
  • The Great Resignation
  • The “flight or fight” response
  • Core concepts of a trauma-informed leader

So, with everything all coming down to trauma negatively impacting your organization, your question would probably be: what’s the solution? What should I do? Become a trauma-informed leader. That’s the answer.

But how?

Listen until the end of the podcast to find out.
