After being on a career path in health care research that didn’t align with who I was, working in a tiny cubicle of an office that made me feel stuck physically and metaphorically, I knew something had to give. I was miserable and constantly doubted my abilities and skills. Still, I knew God didn’t create me to be miserable, so I finally decided that I deserved fulfillment in my career.

I’ve worked as a school counselor, a mental health counselor, a career counselor, and now a counselor educator at a large research university.
